Closing a Submission
Once an application has been submitted, you can close the submission if the Insured decides not to proceed with the policy, or if the Carrier does not offer the coverage or rates that the Insured.
You can click Close Submission from the Overview tab at any time after you have submitted an application. (If you want to discard an application before it has been submitted, click Delete Draft from the submission's Overview tab.)
To close a submission:
- From the Home tab, double-click the submission you want to close. The submission Overview page displays.
- Under I want to, click Close Submission. The Close Submission window appears.

- From the Reason list, select the reason that you are closing the submission. If the reason is not listed, select Other, and then enter the reason in the text box that appears.
- Under Comments, enter any additional comments related to the closing of the submission.
- Click Close Account. A confirmation window appears.
- Click Yes. The submission status changes to Lost, and the submission displays on the Home tab under the Declined/Lost heading.
