Resubmitting Applications from the Prior Year

You can resubmit submissions that were lost or declined in the prior year. Within 90 days of the expiration date of the original submission, a Resubmit Submission option appears on the submission’s Overview tab..

To resubmit a submission:
  1. From the Overview tab of the submission that was lost or declined, click Resubmit Submission. A confirmation window appears.

    Note: If submission modifications are pending, the Resubmit Submission button is not active.

  2. Click Yes. A progress bar appears while Geaux creates a new Draft submission based on the lost or declined submission, and a Resubmitted Application notification pop-up message appears.
  3. Click OK. The Overview tab of the new Draft submission appears.
  4. Review and update the application information, as necessary, and then click Submit on the Application tab when you are ready to submit the application for underwriting.

While creating the new draft for resubmittal, Geaux updates the information on the Overview tab as follows:

Note: If the user deletes the resubmitted draft submission, Geaux removes the Next and Prior buttons that linked the submissions.

Geaux also copies all fields from the Application forms from the prior Submission to the new submission with the following exceptions:
