Collaboration tools: Notes

In the Notes collaboration tool, you can add notes about the submission for your own reference and for other users. In the Notes window is a list of all notes related to the submission, including the name of the person who created the note, date and time the note was added or edited, and the note contents. The content of a note is limited to the first paragraph or the first 200 characters, whichever is smaller. Notes are listed in the order in which they were added or edited, with the most recent first.

Search for a note

Filter notes by type

Click the Filter icon to the right of the Search field, and then select the types of notes you want to display.

View the full note

Click on any note to view the full note.

To return to the list of notes, click the Note window title bar.

Edit a note

Click on any note. You can change the note contents. When you are done, click the Note window title bar. Your edits are saved and you return to the list of notes.

Add a note

Click New.

Type or paste the note text.

(Optional) Select the note Type.

Click Save. Underwriting Management generates a global notification that the note exists.

Delete a note

Click on any note and then click Delete at the bottom of the window. Click Yes to confirm.
