Managing Accounts

When you click Open Account from a submission's Overview tab, the Account Details display in a separate Account tab. This tab displays with a folder icon, to the left of the open submission. The related submissions and account are grouped, and curved edges to the left of the account and to the right of the right-most submission indicate the grouping. (Whenever a new submission related to an open account is opened, it appears to the right of the last opened submission for that account.)

Each account includes an Overview tab and a Proposals tab.

From the account you can create a new submission that is associated with the account, or delete the account (if there are no submissions assigned to it and you have the permission to delete accounts).

Upgrading Account Forms

Whenever you open an account, Geaux checks the version of the account form templates and upgrades any forms that require upgrading. When forms are upgraded, a pop-up notification informs you that the upgrades have occurred. The upgraded forms may include additional fields or field options, so you may need to provide more information after you initially complete the forms.

What’s New for this Account

The What's New for this Account pane lists the most recent actions that have occurred for the submissions for this account, including notes and attachments that were added or changed and status or ownership changes for the submissions. This section is similar to the My What's New pane on the Home tab, but it is specific to this account.

When you select Show Viewed What's New, you can filter the list by date. You can specify a date range or select an existing option. The default value is Last 7 Days, which displays all What's New messages for the submissions for this account (viewed and not viewed) from the last seven days. The messages display in pages through which you can navigate.

Tasks for this Account

The Tasks for this Account pane lists all tasks associated with you. These tasks include tasks that you have assigned and tasks that other users have assigned to you for all submissions related to this account. You can hide tasks that are assigned to other users by selecting Show Only Tasks Assigned to Me at the bottom of the Tasks for this Account pane.

By default, resolved tasks are hidden, but you can display all tasks, including resolved tasks, by selecting Show Resolved Tasks. Tasks are ordered by due date (with closest due dates at the top of the list).

You can set a Next Action for each submission. Next Actions appear with a Next Action icon in the Tasks list.
