Changing the Agency/Brokerage

After you initially set the Agency/Brokerage for a submission on the New Submission window, you can change it from the Overview tab.

To change the Agency/Brokerage:
  1. From the Overview tab for a submission, click the Agency/Brokerage button, which displays the name of the current Agency/Brokerage. The Change Agency/Brokerage window appears. (The current Agency/Brokerage is highlighted. If the current Agency/Brokerage is inactive, however, it does not appear in this list.)

  2. Select the Agency/Brokerage from the list. You can filter the list by typing characters into the Search field , which is indicated with the magnifying glass icon .
  3. From the Producer list, select the Producer for the submission.
  4. From the Agency/Brokerage Contact list, select the Agency/Brokerage Contact for the submission.
  5. Click Change to change the Agency/Brokerage, Producer, and Agency/Brokerage Contact. The Overview tab updates with the new Agency/Brokerage, Producer, and Agency/Brokerage Contact. The previous Agency/Brokerage and users display in the new Original Agency Brokerage (if you selected Immediately in the Effective field) or Renewal Agency/Brokerage (if you selected Upon Renewal in the Effective field) fields.

If you click Cancel or close the window without clicking Change, the existing Agency/Brokerage, Producer, and Agency/Brokerage Contact continue to display on the Overview tab.
