Submission Statuses

A submission's status can be any of the following, shown in the general order in which they occur.

Submission Status Description
Draft

Submissions that are in a draft form and have not been submitted for underwriting. Agency/Brokerage users can view draft submissions that a Carrier user is creating on their behalf. Carrier users can view drafts that an Agency/Brokerage user has not yet submitted by filtering for submissions from that Agency/Brokerage user’s Agency or Brokerage from the Submission Filters window.

Draft submissions are categorized by the way they were created. Those that were created by means other than manual data entry display their creation source, as follows:

  • Draft: Uploaded PDF
  • Draft: Rewrite
  • Draft: EMail Receiver
  • Draft: Copy
Submit Pending Submissions that have been submitted earlier than the Carrier is ready to process them. When the date at which the Carrier can accept them is reached, Geaux automatically submits them.
Submitted Submissions that have been updated to include all required information and have been submitted for underwriting.
Clear Submissions for which a Carrier user performed clearance and found no matching active submissions in the system. Clear submissions may not be ready to underwrite if a Carrier's personnel have not completed prerequisites such as submission data entry, modeling, or other analysis work.
Clear-Ready Submissions that have been cleared and are ready for underwriting.
Quoted Submissions for which a Carrier user has prepared a quote and sent the proposal to the Agency/Brokerage user.
Withdrawn Submission for which a proposal was withdrawn after it was sent.
Proposal Declined Submissions for which an Agency/Brokerage user declined binding.
Bind Requested Submissions for which binding has been requested.
Bound Submissions for which coverage has been bound.
Pending Issuance Submissions for which data has been sent to a policy administration system, and are waiting for a response.
Issued Submissions for which a binder has been issued and a policy number exists.
Lost Submissions that have not materialized.
Declined Submissions that a Carrier user has declined.
Cancellation Requested Submissions for which an Agency/Brokerage user has requested cancellation.
Cancellation Pending Submissions for which a Carrier user has processed an Agency/Brokerage user’s request for cancellation or has initiated cancellation.
Cancelled Submissions for which cancellation was pending that have reached the cancellation date.
Renewed Submissions that have been renewed.
Non-Renewed Submissions that have been marked as Non-Renewed.
Expired Submissions whose policy term is up and that were not submitted for renewal, non-renewal, or cancellation.
