Standard submission sections
Each section of the submission is accessible from the navigation sidebar when the submission is open. The sections that appear in the submission vary, based on the submission status and the user's role and actions. For example, the Proposals section appears only after a user has created a proposal for the submission. The table below identifies the points in the workflow when Underwriting Management adds sections to a submission.

Account Overview |
Basic information about the insured (that is not specific to
any single product line or submission), including the following:
This section appears after the submission is assigned to an account or the account is validated. In UM Agent, this section appears only if it is enabled to appear by a system preference. |
Account History |
A list of all submissions and policies assigned to the account. This section appears after the submission is assigned to an account or the account is validated. In UM Agent, this section appears only if it is enabled to appear by a system preference. |
Submission management sections | |
Submission |
Basic information about the submission, including effective and expiration dates, and agency and insurer organization and assigned user information. |
Application |
Information about the risk (for example, property, vehicles, and so on). |
Proposals (and Quotes) |
List of proposals and quotes, including the status of each one. Quotes exist within a proposal. The Proposals section is visible only after a user creates a proposal. A section for each quote is visible when a user creates the proposal or adds quotes to it. |
Policies |
Information related to policy issuance, rating, policy forms, binding, and endorsements. The Policies section is visible only after a user has sent a binder. For more information, refer to Policies. |
- Enter
true
in that text field to display the default content that is defined for the custom icon. - Enter any other text in that field (such as My Custom Icon) to display your specific text when you move the cursor over the custom icon.
- Leave the text field blank to prevent the custom icon from displaying.
