Create or reset an agency user's password

About this task

From the Manage Agency Users screen, you can create or reset a password for a user.
Note: The Users menu and Manage Agency Users screen are visible only if you have been granted the ability to administer other agency users.

Procedure

  1. Select Users > Manage Agency Users.
    The Manage Agency Users screen appears.
  2. Click the row for the user for whom you want to create or reset a password.

    A user details screen appears. If the system has never created a password for the user, the Create Password action is available. Otherwise, the Reset Password action is available.

  3. Select Actions > Create Password or Actions > Reset Password, depending on which action is available.
    A confirmation window appears.
  4. Click Yes to create or reset the password.

Results

Underwriting Management creates or resets a password and emails a link to log into the system to the configured email address for that user.
