Getting Started

The Agent Workspace is one component within Amerisafe Geaux through which Agency/Brokerage users can submit applications for their clients and monitor the progress of the applications through the underwriting process. Carrier users, using the Underwriting Workstation, can use Geaux to communicate with Agency/Brokerage users about submissions.

From the Agent Workspace, you can do the following:

• View existing submissions that are assigned to you and your Agency/Brokerage.
• Create new submissions for your clients.
• Prequalify submissions.
• Check clearance for Draft submissions.
• Communicate with Carrier users through chat and notes.
• Complete and submit applications for an existing submission.
• View and respond to quotes that an Underwriter created for your submissions. 
• Request binding for a quote an Underwriter has sent for one of your submissions.
• Modify submitted, bound, and issued applications.
• Manage endorsements to issued policies..

• Print submissions.
• Request policy cancellation.
• Close submissions.
• Resubmit applications that were declined or lost in prior years.
• Request binding for submissions that are eligible for Agent Quoting.

While you are logged into the Agent Workspace, you can also do the following:

• Indicate whether you are Select Available to chat to allow other users who are associated with your submissions to know that you are online and available to use the Live Chat feature. If you do not want other users to see that you are online, de-select Available to Chat. The next time you log in, this setting is determined by your preferences (under Settings > My Preferences).Available to chat
• Edit your From the Settings menu, you can access windows to modify your user profile, change your password, set up login information for external submissions, and configure your user preferences.user settings.
• Obtain Use the Help button to view version information about the Agent Workspace (Help > About) or to access the complete help system. (Help > Contents).Help about the Agent Workspace.
• The Log Out button logs the current user out of the system and returns to the login screen.Log Out of the system.
